Types of data processed

  • Contact form data: name, email, subject and message sent through the contact page.
  • Anti-spam token: a Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise risk score generated when the contact form is submitted, used solely to block automated abuse.
  • Browsing data: minimal technical information generated by the browser and required for the site to work (session cookie, security logs).

Purposes and legal basis

  • Replying to enquiries sent through the contact form.
    Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual/contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and legitimate interest in handling correspondence properly (Art. 6.1.f).
  • Site security and maintenance (technical logs, abuse prevention).
    Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
  • Backoffice authentication for the site's own administration area, restricted to the data controller.
    Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).

Processing methods and security measures

Data is processed using IT tools and adequate technical and organisational measures to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability. No profiling activity is carried out.

Retention

Contact form messages are kept in the mailbox they are sent to for up to 12 months from the last exchange, unless a longer period is required (e.g. an ongoing collaboration). No contact form submission is stored in a database: messages are delivered directly by email.

Disclosure to third parties

Data is never sold. It may be processed by external data processors (e.g. the hosting provider, the email service, Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise for anti-spam protection of the contact form) appointed under Art. 28 GDPR, and by individuals authorised by the data controller. An up to date list of processors is available on request.

Transfers outside the EU

Should any third-party service involve data transfers outside the EEA, this will happen in compliance with Chapter V GDPR (e.g. adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses). Detailed information is available on request.

Your rights

You may exercise the rights set out in Arts. 15-22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent) by writing to info@ilvideografo.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
